It is a Chance Don't Miss It

NEWS LETTER

It is a Chance Don’t Miss It
Sir
I am Hari Krishnan from Kerala forwarding here with following findings

1)      from the criteria settled by UGC for Dec 2011 is being increased by 5 % for the Third paper ,before notifying the Examination for June 2012. They are again changing  the criteria to 65 % 60% 55% for Gen/OBC/SC&ST with out any reasonable ground
And its is not just 15% increase.
e.g. in General Category, it is:
First paper: from 40 to 65= 25 %
Second paper: from 40 to 65= 25 %
Third paper: from 50 to 65= 15%

Total increase in three subjects= 65%
Here by making a new criteria of 65% UGC has actually made a new criteria of 65% in all papers. Because here a candidate need to secure 65 % in all his third papers so there is no  basis for 40 % 40% 50% / 35,35,45 /35 35,40

2)      By setting an aggregate of 65/55/50 in all papers UGC is giving priority to all three papers. Here NET – Lectureship is conducted for selecting  an expert teacher in his discipline but through this aggregate process those candidate who is having less mark in his selected topic can secure high  mark in paper 1  and can qualify NET   and be posted as Lecturer in selected subject

3)      Here at the time of publishing final answer key UGC has avoided many questions but they setted aggregate for all subjects with out making necessary change of such avoided questions in total marks

4)      UGC is a qualifying exam and not competitive exam so it is not fair to reduce the candidate on the basis of increase in  number. For a qualifying exam there need a qualification criteria. In the absence of such criteria a student cannot approach the exam with confidence. Here UGC says that they can change criteria as per his likes at any time it will affte not only the present victims but also future candidates too  so it is also a serious problem .

5)      By practicing such a system UGC is reducing them selves as an Exam  of Fortune. They are classifying students not as Looser and gainers but as Fortunate  and Unfortunates
6)      Here  I am agreeing that UGC can fix high standard and criteria for selecting the best suitable candidates But all these things must be done before starting  exam procedure .Here UGC is not showing any responsibility to students and to country. UGC is collecting huge amount as application money but they are not showing any responsibility at least to the amount of money  so collected . In this year UGC collected nearly 20 crore as application money
7)      Here UGC shown a mere business trick , They attracted  all the PG Holders to apply for exam. Because of No Negative marking . No Age limit and Objective mode in Third Paper  most of the PG Holders tried their attempt. After publishing the result UGC is saying that Criteria is changed ,it is not just

8)      UGC may says that No of increase in NET holders forced them to increase the criteria but when we compares the result with the previous years number of applicants  we can see that it is not such a wide increasing  rate it is only marginal. Most of new NET holders are having already NET they tried for JRF in this time due to the liberalization of procedure

9)                UGC is not making such mistakes for the first time , in the previous years also they had committed  such mistakes
E.g. .  for the examination 2008 June 29 UGC published 2 results at two times .One is published as main list and another  one as supplementary mark list . Supplementary is published due to the interference of Court. The Supplementary list included the list of 430 members

During the year 2009 also UGC issued supplementary list of 104 members

A candidate from home science register No (320234) was absent in the first list announced by UGC But approaching court her register no was included in the second supplementary List

So I am saying to all the candidates that we need to make “ Do Or Die” approach for getting a reasonable justice from UGC . All the students should use their political and cultural contacts for influencing the MP/ Central Ministers and requesting them to present the matters with UGC Chairman / Kapil Sibal  / PM /  President etc . In addition to that You should personally send a copy of petition with UGC Chairman and Kapil Sibal. Should fight through  Court and should attain Maximum Media attention . Here we are organizing Secretariat march on Saturday . We have created a Blog on Face book
It is a site for filing NET Affidavit
